Credentials (CredVault)
CredVault is a credential tracker for nurses: you record each licence and certification with its issuer and expiry date, and the list stays sorted by whatever runs out next. It exists because a lapsed BLS card or an unnoticed licence renewal window is one of the few career problems that is entirely preventable and entirely your responsibility.
What you can track
- State or provincial nursing licences, including compact and second-state licences.
- Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and specialty credentials.
- The issuing body and the expiry date for each, so renewal instructions are easy to find.
- Anything else with an expiry that would stop you working a shift.
Sorted by urgency, not by date added
The list is ordered by soonest expiry, so the thing you should deal with is always at the top. Entries approaching their date are marked, and expired ones are called out rather than quietly buried at the bottom.
Local-first, with optional sync
Your credential list is stored on the device and works signed out. If you sign in, this module syncs to your own account so a new phone or a second device shows the same list. Nothing is shared with an employer or a board.
What this does not do
CredVault does not renew anything for you, does not talk to any nursing board, and cannot verify that a licence is genuine or currently in good standing. It is a reminder list you keep — the renewal itself still happens on the board or certifying body website.
Frequently asked questions
Does Nursana renew my licence automatically?
No. It reminds you what is expiring and when. Every renewal is still submitted by you to the issuing board or certifying body.
Does it check my licence against the state board?
No. There is no connection to any board or verification service. The dates in CredVault are the dates you enter.
Can I track more than one state licence?
Yes. Add each licence separately with its own issuer and expiry, and they all appear in the same expiry-sorted list.
What happens to my credentials if I sign out?
They stay on the device you added them on. Signing in is only how a second device gets the same list.
