Wellbeing (MindShift)
MindShift is a private space for the part of nursing nobody rosters: how the work is actually landing on you. It offers short check-ins tuned to shift work and a handful of reset exercises that fit in the time you really have. It is built for self-tracking, not for diagnosis, and it is not a therapist.
What it offers
- Short check-ins you can complete between tasks rather than long questionnaires.
- A view of your own entries over time, so a bad fortnight is visible as a pattern instead of a feeling.
- Brief reset exercises — breathing and grounding — for the minutes between rooms.
- Crisis resources surfaced directly, including the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the United States.
Private by default
Check-ins are stored on your device and work signed out. If you sign in, this module can sync to your own account so your history survives a new phone. Nothing is shared with an employer, a colleague or an insurer, and there is no aggregate report of your mood going anywhere.
When to reach past an app
A tracking tool is useful for noticing a trend and useless in a crisis. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact 988 in the US, your local emergency number elsewhere, or your employee assistance programme. Nursana routes you to those resources rather than trying to handle it.
What this does not do
MindShift does not diagnose anything, does not provide therapy or counselling, and does not monitor you or alert anyone on your behalf. A score in it is a note to yourself, not a clinical finding. It is not a substitute for a mental health professional.
Frequently asked questions
Is my wellbeing data private?
Yes. Entries live on your device and, if you sign in, in your own account. No employer, colleague or third party sees them, and they are never sold.
Does Nursana diagnose burnout or depression?
No. The check-ins are for your own tracking. Only a qualified professional can diagnose anything, and Nursana never claims to.
What if I am in crisis right now?
Contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the US, or your local emergency number. Those links are shown in the module rather than buried.
Will anyone be notified if my scores get worse?
No. Nothing in Nursana alerts anyone about you. That is intentional — a tool that reported on you would not be one nurses could use honestly.
