Privacy Policy
The Nursana privacy policy explains what is stored, where it is stored and who can see it. The short version: the brain sheet and the advocacy vault never leave your device, the other modules stay local until you choose to sign in, the community is shared because it is a conversation, and none of it is ever sold.
The shape of it
- On-device only, always: the shift brain sheet and the advocacy or incident vault. These are excluded from sync in code, not just in policy.
- Local first, synced only when signed in: credentials, wellbeing, schedule, practice progress and finance notes.
- Server-side by nature: community posts, because a shared feed cannot be private to one device.
- Never collected: patient names or identifiers. Nursana is designed so you never need to enter them.
Third parties
Analytics and error reporting are used to understand crashes and general usage, and each is active only when its key is configured. None of them receive the contents of your brain sheet or your advocacy records, because those never leave the device at all.
What this does not do
This policy covers Nursana. It does not cover your employer systems, your hospital EHR, or a site you reach through an external link — including any crisis resource, which has its own policy.
Frequently asked questions
Does Nursana store protected health information?
No. It is designed so patient identifiers are never entered, and the brain sheet that comes closest to clinical content is never transmitted or stored on a server.
Is my data sold or shared with employers?
No. There is no advertising business, no data sale and no employer access of any kind.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
Account data is deleted; on-device data goes when you remove the app or clear its storage. The full process is on the data deletion page.
