Schedule (ShiftSync)
ShiftSync is a personal shift schedule with fatigue checks built in. You enter the shifts you work — across as many employers as you have — and it flags the patterns that reliably wreck people: short turnarounds, long unbroken stretches and fast flips between days and nights. It is your record of your own roster, not a marketplace and not an employer scheduling system.
What it flags
- Short turnarounds, where the gap between finishing and starting again is too small for real sleep.
- Long consecutive stretches, where fatigue accumulates faster than a day off can clear it.
- Rapid day-to-night switches, which are the hardest thing you can ask of a circadian rhythm.
- Upcoming versus past shifts, so the week ahead is visible at a glance.
Why keep your own copy
If you work for more than one employer, no single scheduling system sees the whole picture, and the whole picture is the only thing fatigue responds to. A per-diem shift squeezed against a contract block looks harmless in either system alone.
Having your own record also gives you something concrete to point at when you decline an extra shift.
Local-first, with optional sync
Shifts are stored on the device and work signed out. Signing in lets this module sync to your own account across devices. No employer can see it, and nothing is submitted anywhere.
What this does not do
ShiftSync does not connect to any employer scheduling system, does not import your roster, does not let you pick up or swap shifts, and is not a staffing marketplace. Its fatigue flags are general rules of thumb about sleep and shift work, not an occupational-health assessment or a safety certification.
Frequently asked questions
Does this connect to my hospital scheduling system?
No. Shifts are entered by you. There is no integration with any employer roster and no way for an employer to write into it.
Can I pick up shifts through Nursana?
No. Nursana is deliberately not a gig or staffing marketplace. It only tracks the shifts you already work.
What counts as a short turnaround?
A gap too small to travel home, sleep properly and return. The flag is a prompt to look at the pattern, not a regulatory threshold.
Can I track shifts from two different employers?
Yes, and that is the point — the fatigue picture only makes sense when every shift is in one place.
